My daughter and her husband invited me to join them in Amsterdam for the first 3 days of their honeymoon.
Its know for all their free weed smoking and the medical cannabis that I use for my neck pain.
I could save lots of money, getting it there. But for some reason, its illegal to sell cannabis containing THC like here in Denmark.
Its bullshit, they can smoke it, but are not allowed to sell it !
It will never go on the free market. When big pharma has gotten their patent, they will control that market too !
But I got some regular CBD T and saved my money on that. It helps me sleep better, but don’t take all of my pain away.
We had a great time, saw most of down town Amsterdam and the museums that had something we liked.
We stayed at The student hotel, I didn’t see any drunk kids, shouting and acting stupid, only kids smoking weed. So different from Denmark, where kids are wasted before they go to dance and bars.
Apart from that, Holland is a lot like Denmark. Lots of bicycles and flat country. Well we have more hills here, then they have. I guess they go first, when the water rises, so I happy to be home 🙂
I love the canals and the calm of the people living there. Lots of blacks, muslims and dutch people.
I have been to Holland twice before. Once playing handball and once with work, visiting tulip fields and their production of vegetables, greenhouses and the market where its sold.
But never saw Amsterdam.
We just walked around, went to cafe’s and coffee shops. And saw the city.
If you ever go, but a tram card, its so easy to get around that way. The machines are often broken and its a pain to get a one way trip. Buy 24 hours or more.
I went home and the kids went on to Malaga, Gibraltar and Sevilla. Having a heat wave right now.
Its only one hour flight home, but the train trip took 5 hours and I cost 2 days in bed. To concentrated a trip and I had to carry my bags alone. But it was all worth it. I got some cannabis and saved 400 dollars compared to the prices in Denmark. And we had such a good time there.
I don’t really care about where I am but whom I’m with. I love to see my daughters eyes when she looks at her husband and even if he’s sometimes made from wood, he heart is so big.
My youngest is moving in, to save money and I look forward to that. She’s in between jobs and have to get rid of a loan and save some money.
